Not every illigal aliens is a criminal - in fact, they are possibly less likely to commit crimes (no way of knowing, since we don't know everyone who is here). But they are breaking the law. But also keep in mind ALL of the costs to the whole Trump family. Everytime his sons do business trips, that commands a security detail and all of those expenses. It might not total $30 million a month, but as a whole, it isn't far off.

There are rights and protections beyond that. Yes, they are "persons" as defined by the Constitution (I've represented some). But even the article shows they do not have all the same rights as citizens. They also do not have the legal right to be in the country.
At this point in time, a belief system as more rights and protections than some citizens.

Obviously American lives are worth more than anything else. Leaving the Paris Accords and backtracking progress on climate change efforts that affect the whole world to then merely focus on local jobs point blank shows just how important Americans are. And when they work until they die because they cannot afford a roof over their head and healthcare to live longer, the next round of employees (read: citizens) will continue on the legacy.
