TIL that while there are all kinds for words for colors in German that aren't the same as english

such are rot for red
Gelb for yellow
lila for purple

the german word for orange is

orange.

weird.

Not every illigal aliens is a criminal - in fact, they are possibly less likely to commit crimes (no way of knowing, since we don't know everyone who is here). But they are breaking the law. They are not "undocumented". They do not have any legal right to be here, nor do they merit the same legal protections as someone who IS here legally.

People say our attitude is backwards. But we have some of the most lax procedures for dealing with illegal aliens.

But also keep in mind ALL of the costs to the whole Trump family. Everytime his sons do business trips, that commands a security detail and all of those expenses. It might not total $30 million a month, but as a whole, it isn't far off.

Maybe that's where I got the 30 number, it was his whole family outside of the white house, not just Melania and Trump Jr.

this is so dumb

no civilization has ever fallen because it was too well informed. why the fuck would you not want a clearer picture of the demographics of the country?
At this point in time, a belief system as more rights and protections than some citizens.

is it still worth it if they came back and murdered another illegal immigrant? or do you only care about American lives?
Obviously American lives are worth more than anything else. Leaving the Paris Accords and backtracking progress on climate change efforts that affect the whole world to then merely focus on local jobs point blank shows just how important Americans are. And when they work until they die because they cannot afford a roof over their head and healthcare to live longer, the next round of employees (read: citizens) will continue on the legacy.

immigration proceedings are matters of administrative law, not criminal law. (As a result, the consequence of violating your immigration status is not jail but deportation.) And Congress has nearly full authority to regulate immigration without interference from the courts. Because immigration is considered a matter of national security and foreign policy, the Supreme Court has long held that immigration law is largely immune from judicial review. Congress can make rules for immigrants that would be unacceptable if applied to citizens.

when will Trump have a look at the REAL issues?
